Our utilization of Virtual Dedicated Servers in the shared environment has proven to be an extreme enhancement over other, less secure solutions available on the market today and has allowed Jumpline.com to set the standard for the future of shared web hosting.

With Jumpline’s J1-VDS Plan, $9.95 a month, prepaid yearly, you receive 500 MB of disk storage, 75 email addresses and 5 gigabytes of data transfer per month, but no ecommerce or database services are available with this plan. The J1-VDS Plan doesn’t offer nearly as much bandwidth or storage as the starting plan for our number one ranked option, Globat, but additional bandwidth can be purchased. The benefit of using Jumpline would be the VDS environment.

Jumpline Hosting offers a basic selection of support options. The company does not publish an email address, but they do offer an online Customer Manager Service where you can communicate with technicians using support tickets (a method to index your past questions and resolutions in case of reoccurrence). To use this service, you must log in then complete an online form describing your problem. Jumpline also offers a simple message center for general inquiries that does not require log in. Jumpline does not offer live chat or 24/7 telephone support. Telephone support hours are Monday through Friday from 9:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M. EST. Generous customer and technical support are critical to a hosting company, and we had a difficult time communicating with Jumpline when it was convenient for us. Although the support staff members at Jumpline are knowledgeable and polite, this host may not be the best choice for those who require customer service accessibility and convenience.
